This autumn, I’m one of the participants in Portrettmesterskapet (The Portrait Championship), a new TV program on NRK where artists compete to paint portraits of Norwegian celebrities – all while being filmed.

It was definitely outside my comfort zone, but also an exciting way to bring figurative art to a broader audience. I applied after a tip from my studio colleague – and suddenly I was in!

The show premieres on September 14.
